The sprint has ended. You know the drill! For those of you who don't know what the drill is, read here. These releases will be deployed to your Demo environment today (Wednesday), then you'll perform tests and so will we, then next Monday the same releases and any additional bugfixes are deployed to your Live environment.
Once the releases are deployed to your Demo environment we have entered the "testing period". If we or you discover issues or bugs during this period on Demo we will fix them. By the time it comes to Monday any problems found should be fixed, meaning that your Live environments are as bug-free as possible.
It's super important for you to let us know if there is something fishy going on during the testing period and on Mondays deployment! Because, after all, we are only humans and can occasionally miss stuff. If a business critical bug occurs after Live deployment we will build a hotfix which is immediately delivered to your Live environment.
Platform Release Notes
There was an error with bundles that were out of stock, if the bundle was out of stock it was silently removing itself from orders. We have fixed this by making sure an error message is displayed in the event that customer does add an out of stock bundle to the cart.
We experienced a few issues with orders updating as complete after a sync with a 3rd party invoicing system even if there were multiple shipments that still needed to be paid. We deployed a fix to always check the order for multiple deliveries after an update from the invoicing system. This results in no longer having orders prematurely complete if they have unpaid shipments.
- Occasionally, there is a need to send emails in bulk via the action in the Sales > Orders view. This would not work if your email settings in Store Settings were set to no. We have made it possible to send bulk emails via the action button by making the action ignore store settings.
Showroom Release Notes
- We have added a search functionality to the Accounts page, now you can easily search for accounts by using the search bar at the top right of the screen. This will now make it easier to quickly get to the account you need!
- We have updated the Lookbook table design in the Lookbook section of the Centra Showroom, we redesigned this to follow the design of other tables within the Centra Showroom. And, we have supplied the error message No Results if there are no lookbooks available instead of showing a blank page.
There were some issues with buttons in the Centra showroom not correctly displaying the right values. We have deployed a fix that will make sure that buttons always inherit the right values to be displayed to you.
- There was a problem with the Centra font type when hovering over things with your tooltip (cursor). We have fixed this so that the right font is displayed.
