Bulk media import

About this article

You may upload images separately for each product through the media bank but you may also multi-upload images to the entire catalog from a .zip file and they will automatically connect to the products. The current media formats are JPG, GIF, PNG.

To be able to import the media so it automatically connects to each product you need to name the pictures after the Product numbers of the products. If this is done correctly each picture will automatically connect to the displays of the products.

For example, if you have a product with one variant with Product number 'KN-0001' the picture should be named 'KN-0001.jpg' and if you have several pictures for one product they should be named 'KN-0001 1', ' KN-0001 2 ', 'KN-0001 3' etc.

If you have products with several variants and you want to be able to connect them to their specific variant at once you need to use the so-called "Variant number".

To change or add Variant number, go to a product's variant and click it:

So if you want to connect images to this specific variant you should name them 'KN-0001001 1', 'KN-0001001 2' etc.

I.e.the Products number + Variant number (without space in between) then space and finally 1, 2, 3 etc.

Once you have named all the files correctly you just need to compress the files into a .zip file. Maximum size of the zip-file is 100MB.
